Unique Knitted Creature with Felted Shroud & Luxury Ears but basically Armless I hand knitted this Creatures body with pink Wensleydale yarn. Its wooly shroud was machine knitted then tacked to a towel and felted in the washing machine. Once felted, I cut it to size and embarked upon needle felting it to the Creature's body, evolving into a beautiful spine and rib cage detail on its back. I felted its ears from carded merino wool tops and stitched them into shape before needle felting them upon its head. Its feet are stitched together with Donegal tweed yarn. It has limited edition buttons for eyes and is stuffed with British wool. This specimen could be described as a Luxury Creature as it has truly been a labour of love. I tend work intuitively, so I rarely know how a Creature will turn out until I realise its almost finished. No two Creatures are ever the same.

Unique Knitted Creature with Felted Fangs, Big Grey Ears but basically Armless. I hand knitted this Creature's body with un-dyed Shetland yarn. Its feet are knitted with Donegal tweed, a blend of wool and angora. The feet are stitched with merino yarn. I hand felted its ears and face with grey Finnish wool tops. All details are painstakingly needle felted with merino wool tops. It is stuffed with British wool and has buttons for eyes. I love this particular Creature. Approx. 28cm tall including ears, firm to the touch but not free-standing. All my work is hand made and very time consuming. Each Creature takes me many hours to complete. I tend work intuitively, so I rarely know how a Creature will turn out until I realise its almost finished. No two Creatures are ever the same.

Its feet are knitted with pink Shetland yarn and are stitched together with silk yarn. All details are painstakingly needle felted. It has vintage buttons for eyes and is stuffed with British wool. Approx 30cm tall, firm to the touch but not free-standing. All my work is hand made and very time consuming. Each Creature takes me many hours to complete. I tend work intuitively, so I rarely know how a Creature will turn out until I realise its almost finished. No two Creatures are ever the same.
