SIX FILES ARE SPREAD OPEN OVER THE BED---  and that’s only  penny’s  share of the work.  who would have thought that taking down a  canadian mafia  would result in so much paperwork?  finally,  as she closes off another file,  she sits back against the headboard.  “ this is  not  what i had in mind when you said  SLEEPOVER, ”  she huffs.  at the very least,  the workload is  shared,  and they should be done in no time.

alana sighs and doesn’t speak for a moment. she muses silently, eyes pointed absently out ahead before saying anything aloud.

someone will be drowning—he’s read enough tragedies to know how this story is going to end. he had wanted to keep alana out of the loop, out of some sick mix of protectiveness and resentment. let her come to her own conclusions as everything she’d convinced herself she could trust fell to pieces, as they had for him, or stay blind, spare herself the knife. he’s not proud of that.

but it doesn’t matter now. she knows; she’ll be safer knowing, at least somewhat. hannibal won’t want to kill her, if she doesn’t force his hand. there only needs to be one sacrifice: hannibal or jack. when the moment comes—

General Appearance: blonde with green eyes, somewhat lanky and on the taller side like her father; she has wings because of her mother’s alien heritage and her feathers are a goldish-brown in color

Personality: sweet and eager like her father, though a little more prone to mischief like her mother. she enjoys challenges and isn’t afraid to speak out or take risks if needed. she also has a temper like her mother, but is a little less stubborn and quicker to calm down.

Special Talents: she’s a lot stronger and has better senses than a human kid would. she can also fly because of her wings.

Who they like better: she likes both her parents equally, but her mother tends to be gone a lot because of superhero stuff and she ends up spending more time with her father

Who they take after more: she takes after her father more as far as looks go. her personality is a pretty even split between both her parents.

Personal Head canon: she has both of her parents’ aptitude for detective work, but with her father’s compassionate nature. she ends up joining the police force and eventually becomes a liaison between the alien community and the nypd
