Deconstructing the Everyday: Experimental Soundscapes.

Lately, I've been experimenting with building sound designs through improvisation using everyday ambient sounds from Japan.

On this particular day, I went to a nearby station, picked up the sounds inside the station with a microphone, and processed them in real-time using an iPad app to create something.

However, what I produced that day ended up being nothing more than noise music, so I plan to scrap this piece.

I create experimental music and respect noise music and various forms of experimental music. But personally, I want to create something that oscillates between that experimental side and pop. Finding that balance is difficult.
