Ma-Ma-Manila
Photos from my walk a week ago along Downtown Manila. Glad that light was great so I was able to capture well-lit and well-contrasted subjects. It’s always a great day to shoot when the sun is out. Just wishing for more days just like this. No more rains please. Praying for everyone affected by the typhoons that battered our country, Philippines. 🙏🏻

01-28-2017 Chinese New Year 2017 Chinatown, Binondo, Manila
Part 2
Experiencing the Chinese in us. It is a yearly practice now for us to go to Binondo and celebrate Chinese New Year. But this year, Mama and I just walked along the street of Ongpin and attended a mass in Binondo Church. We cannot deal with the situation. Ang daming tao that time. But still enjoyed the day. 😊
Chinese New Year Diaries (2020) //
I was browsing through my photos earlier, and realized that the CNY celebration a year ago hits different. It was the last major event I experienced before pandemic started. Taking photographs were easier, also there was an abundance of dancing dragons and lions. Unlike now, wherein street performers aren’t allowed because of the pandemic. This was my first time to miss CNY in Binondo since I don’t know when. Kinda feel sad, but better to be safe though. Gong Xi Fa Cai, everyone!

Manila Street Photography: POV VID 002!
Second official POV video is officially now up on my Youtube channel!
This video features Binondo’s famous spot, Ongpin or Chinatown. The whole walk took me around 40 minutes. It was cloudy when I shot this video, but luckily there were lots of things happening around the area.
If you enjoyed the 1st one, hope you enjoyed this one too.
