Getting on the mat is sometimes the hardest thing. Once on it, practice is easy(er). But oh that process to get on it...all the things I say in my head why I can't do certain things or why I will do them later. When it's a better time. When it's more healed...bla bla bla #procrastination par excellence. In the end it's all just fears. Fear of the foot maybe not being healed yet. What if I hurt it again. What if I won't do good?...How is that like my life? 🙄 And I'm so done with that. So today I choose to reprogram, to rewrite that. To say. To think "But what if...?" What if I take it slow? What if I explore what is possible? What if I do the things I can today? What if I listen to my body telling me it's limits instead of listening to the limiting believes of my mind? What if I just have to start, again and again, with slow steps, to make it happen? ...I've heard this so many times in class and even taught it, I tend to forget when life takes over...So, just for today I'm getting back to practice, letting gentleness guide me instead of fear of failure...and then, the biggest step of it all, take it off the mat and live it! 🙏🏻💜📿 #onestepattime #healing #backonthemat #analogy #howisthatlikemylife #yoga #practicepracticepractice #bali #onepicadayfromsas
