โLunar Sojournโย is a 9-minute, atmospheric jazz improvisation, featuring Adam Ahuja (@hujapproach) on grand piano, (David Hawkins @davidhawkinsmusic_) on drums, E Scott Lindner (@escottlindner) on electric bass, Caio Carvalho (@caiwo_music) on electric guitar, and Nini Iris @ninismusic on pitched percussion.

NYC-basedย Adam Ahujaย is aย live-looping artist, keyboardist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist.ย He has drawn international recognition touring independently as an artist and as a past member of acts such asย Robert Randolph & Family Bandย and theย Ana Popovic Band.
Ahujaโs keen sense of the contemporary music scene prompted him to establishย Infinity Gritty, a music label, consultancy, and artist development agency.ย Infinity Gritty has partnered with Grammy-winning labelย Ropeadope Recordsย on distribution and promotion for multiple projects.ย Ropeadope is home to albums by jazz luminaries such asย Christian Scott,ย Nate Smith,ย Snarky Puppy,ย and others.
In 2017, Ahuja released his critically-acclaimed album โUbiquityโ via the Infinity Gritty / Ropeadope joint venture, on which he composed and performed all music, including keyboards, guitar, bass, drums, percussion, and voice, and wrote the lyrics.
Adam Ahujaโs music incorporates influence fromย jazz, rock, funk, soul, hip-hop, electronic, world, and little bit of Vanilla Ice dance partying at age six.ย Ahuja melds a love for groove and an affinity with harmony, while flavoring his compositions with metaphysically-bent singing and rhymes.
When Ahuja plays live, he offers what he calls a โneoliveโ experience: one in which he draws upon a range of electronic instruments (keyboards & key-bass, singing & rhyming, beatboxing & drums pads) to record and loop the performance live, without the use of pre-recorded sampled parts.ย Ahujaโs shows often involveย interactive participationย as he loops and records audience members, bringing them on to the stage and giving them a personal connection to the performance.
Ahujaโs adept performances, charisma, and novel approach to the โone man bandโ paradigm have made him a widely viewed social media presence with individual videos generating well overย 50,000ย views.
Along his career path, Adam Ahujaโs work has led to collaborative highlights including writing and recording in-studio guitar parts for rock-legendย Meatloaf, jamming on stage with musicians such asย Jerry Harrisonย ofย Talking Heads,ย Questloveย ofย The Roots, andย Kenny Wayne Shepard, opening for legendary jazz pianistย Chick Corea, and landing endorsement deals withย Nord Keyboardsย andย Motion Sound Amps.

This is very likely a WORLD-FIRST PERFORMANCE STRUCTURE.
Everything was played live using one guitar only โ bass, drums, synths, noise.
No looper. No sync. No sequencer.
Every sound was created in the moment, with no pre-recorded elements. Just 30 seconds.
But it took me 16 years to release this.
For 6 of them,I was quietly building the way to finally let it out.
