On our mooring in Luperon, we install our new AIS to replace the final piece of our lightning fried electronics. The installation includes the helm station mount, wiring, and antennas. We also visit the abandoned beach resort and deserted ruins at Playa Grande.

On our mooring in Luperón, we haul out our old, rusted anchor chain to prepare the locker. Handy Andy and Captain Dave haul 200 feet of brand new 3/8" HT Peerless Acco anchor chain to the boat. We mark the new chain, attach the swivel and rode, and stow it away.
