So many people have recommended this book and I can see why! It’s a long one, but definitely a tale that will stay with me for a long time! What’s the longest book you’ve ever read?

Winter is here and the temperature is plummeting

"It was only when your ears noticed the low and borderless sound of great quantities of moving water that you could make out the stretch of liquid blackness that flowed outside the window, shifting and undulating, darkly illuminated by some energy of its own making." ~ Once Upon a River pulled me along on an adventure, the interweaved fantasy and mystery keeping me turning the pages late into the night. The beautiful storytelling flows like a river itself, keeping me intrigued even while the narration feels soothing and reassuring. This is a book I would like to live in. 5/5 ⭐️ ~ qotd: If you could live near any river, which would it be and why? aotd: I would want to live near the River Avon, because Bath is the perfect combination of cosmopolitan, cultural, literary, historical and peaceful! One of my #newyearresolutions for 2021 is to read a greater variety of books! My first choice is Once Upon A River by Diane Setterfield.
