      “oh stop.” there’s a smile on her face and try as she might, there is a flush to her cheeks as she looks to the redhead. she reaches for her hand and gives it a gentle squeeze once their fingers interlock. “i love you too, natasha. more and more every day. it’s always the little things that i notice that make go ‘hmm another reason to love her’ like those little faces you make sometimes when your thinking or the way you hum when your reading something interesting. all of it.” she brings their hands up and presses a soft kiss to her knuckles.

       There's still a smile on her face as she watches the woman. Brooke doesn't offer her hand out --- not yet, at least. After all, when you were Brooke, lending out your hand like that could be bad news. Not always, but could be.
