It is so strange and sad that through sickness and suicide, my dad is the only one left of his immediate family.

One day, when I don’t feel like hot garbage all the time, I will get back into being more involved and caught up on my dash. But I hardly get on my computer and I am not a big fan of using Tumblr on my phone, but maybe I should try that out more.

I see the challenges and tag games I am tagged in, and I am saving the posts in my drafts folder for me to get into. 

I’ll post better one day, I promise.

Wrote a paragraph in my journal

Today was a lazy day. I got up at 9 AM and a lump had formed under my chin that was painful to the touch. I went back to bed after eating breakfast and got back up at 2 PM. The lump had gotten bigger by then and we decided to go to the hospital tomorrow, because we needed to change the tire on my car so we could go to the hospital in the next town. My local hospital is a joke. My mom and I had a video call with my sister for an hour. After that we watched The Good Wife for a couple of hours. I started reading around 8 PM and had planned on reading for the rest of the night, but when my mom came out to tell me she was going to bed, she noticed that the lump had gotten bigger. It also had heat in it and was much more painful to the touch than before. Worried that it was progressing too fast, we went to our local hospital. I was there for over an hour and I was waiting most of the time, which is fine. The doctor came in and spoke with me for maybe two minutes and said that it was all viral and she would give me antibiotics. Well, viral infections can’t be treated that way. She didn’t do any tests. 30 minutes after that they gave me a prescription for an ointment for the blisters on my lip and antibiotics for the lump. She said stress probably caused that all of this. She diagnosed me with contact dermatitis on my lip and cellulitis on my chin. I have no idea if any of that is actually wrong with me. I’ve had this doctor before and she speaks with you for maybe a minute, doing no tests, and then slaps contact dermatitis on it and throws antibiotics at you. My mom wants to go to the other hospital tomorrow. 

So we have the paint. The top color is Sugared Plum and that will be my room color. The middle color is Soft Violet and that will be my trim color and bathroom color.

Everything took longer than we thought and all of our pep and good energy is wasted. We shall begin tomorrow.

It’s hideous. Original color on other side of room versus one coat on the other. Tested on the door to see the color if we were to go back and paint the walls white.

I showed the paint guy the color of my room and he selected the brand of paint for being able to cover it up. I guess not. It seems very thin.

Anyway, gonna wait a few days and go get a paint sprayer and white paint so it can be even and I can start over. Might also get a different color. My mom said it wouldn’t be a waste because that color could be used in the kitchen. She plans on repainting the whole house.
