OMA's Taiwan Theatre Complex Hits Building Milestone
News: the OMA-made Taipei Performing Arts Centre – a theatre complicated centred about a transparent cube – has topped out today in the Taiwanese capital (+ slideshow).
1st unveiled by Rem Koolhaas’ firm in 2009, the Taipei Performing Arts Centre (TPAC) will offer you 3 auditoriums, including a 1,500-seat grand theatre and a pair of 800-seat playhouses, 1 of which will be contained in a big spherical volume.

Construction of the TPAC began in 2012 and is set to comprehensive subsequent year. With the structure now in location, installation of the facade will start in October.
