rn, I'm not going to talk like a girl who just watches sports, or a feminist, but as someone who sees her future in football, f1, and motosports in general.
sky sports halo is patronising, and something that no one asked for. If girls wanted to learn about sports, then there are football 101 all over tt. same for f1 and motogp.
it is such a disgrace for us. who said that we have to talk about labubus and matcha just to learn the offside rule? who said that we cannot understand - or research on our own - about rules in a sport we're interested in.
ik it's probably to attract more viewers or wtv, but they chose the wrong way.
not all girls talk about makeup and matcha and wtv. there are some who actually know what's going on.
also, [back to the journalist thing], it is a rare thing for a female to be in the paddock/press booth. imagine how much rare will it become now. men will see us as weak, as someone who cannot compete with the skills of them, when in reality, we're the same.
in a few words, my opinion is that sky sports halo set us back to times where men were still dominating sports - something that had become lesser nowadays.
