that is exactly what we covered! we were having an undereye concealer conversation (salmon is the ideal color to combat a purple-green combo) and i was like, okay, just pull up the color wheel in your head, and she was all, there's no color wheel in my head, what? *blank expression* and i was like... whoa so i mimed it out in the air, pointing to red and the progression to blue and the subsequent progression to green and yellow and she was sort of there, but still needed to google a color wheel to understand. but so, it was while LOOKING AT said color wheel that she decided that salmon was between purple and red - while somehow, coral got to stay between red and orange. that was actually contained within a sentence, delivered with conviction, from an actual genius who is essentially a fulbright scholar - "coral is between red and orange, sure, but salmon is pink, and that goes between red and purple." me: *mini-stroke* when she looked up the rgb values of salmon & coral respectively & saw how startlingly little they differ, her mind was blown. sometimes she tries to explain physics to me, it must feel something like this did tbh
