I received a coupon for a free bottle of Filippo Berio Delicato Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Influenster for testing purposes. We were challenged to use our complimentary olive oil in new and creative ways, which was exciting because I always like to try new things in the kitchen.

Filippo Berio sent a free recipe book along with the coupons that had 101 amazing recipes to try...and try, I did. But they also encouraged us to create our own 102nd way to use the Delicato oil, and thanks to my brother, I have a great recipe to share.

My brother has been making his signature pasta dish for us for years now, but nothing pulled it together quite like Filippo Berio. Like any true chef, he doesn’t measure a thing and it comes out perfectly. So keep that in mind if you try this at home:

- Cook whatever kind of pasta you want, as much as you want. (We like medium shells in our house, usually by the box)

- Drain the water and pour the pasta back into your pot

- Drizzle Filippo Berio Delicato EVOO over the pasta and toss

- Mix in bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and parsley (as much or as little as you want of each)

- Stir vigorously or toss until pasta is evenly coated

- Serve on its own or with a side of your favorite kind of Italian-style protein, and add a nice glass of red. 

We have always loved my brother’s recipe. but having the right EVOO really made all the difference. My brother’s pasta is even more flavorful and appealing due to the high quality and rich flavor of Filippo Berio Delicato, making it a worthy submission for the “102nd way to use Filippo Berio Olive Oil.”
