Something for me to help keep track of what I’m watching what I’ve watched etc. Definitely looking for recommendations, for anything you think fits or that you just believe is polyamorous, if you have a spiel I want to hear it!

My Polyamory Writing Challenge

Just a challenge for me to present the many ways I think Polyamory exists, and show that with some beloved fictional characters (or maybe ones I just sort of know). Anyway the goal is to make a fic for every “classic” polyamorous price of media, or just ones I particularly enjoy. Yayyy

My Own Recommendations

Jurassic Park (movie, not so much book version) - Dinot3 - I love them so muchhh, there’s just something about how they find each other, weren’t right for each other at the time so they MADE TIME. Ugh. I love them bad. Three scientists gang up to defeat capitalism movie.

Leverage (show) - Thiefsome - DUDEEE everyone was so right about them, Alec hardison come back from the war your gf and bf miss you. Also they are so fucking canon I don’t care what was “me you hardison that works”. Leverage is the polyamorous show.

Ninjago (show) - Mudshock - sure let’s have a love triangle season and not expect that to change my brain chemistry. Cole and Jay rivalry to best friends, Nya and Jay fated love, Cole and Nya as mirrors of each other waaa. Good and silly

Zoo CBS (show) - polyzoo - please don’t watch it. It’s my emotional support 5 and a half person polycule. It sucks really bad

Red Notice (movie) - Also bad, movie called let’s get the most cliche actors together and make a bad heist movie but it comes off like a rom com. But it makes suchhhh good AUs for any poly ship ever- so it’s fun because of that

Danganronpa (video game) - Sonsoudam - guys my secret shame is I looooved Sonsoudam bc I think they are so fucking weird about each other, also the fandom did some neat stuff 👉👈.

Road to El Dorado (movie) - it’s good I love Tulio and Miguel’s in love but haven’t found out yet vibe, and Chel who can tell immediatelyy

The Quarry - As I’m writing this I have not finished it but LISTEN. Kaitlyn, Ryan, and Dylan are in love together fiveva. They’re always reaching out to check if the others ok they are the ones they rely on waaaa

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid - AND ETTA!! So good, need to do some character analysis, but so good and very poly

Megamind - I saw fanart for this one, and rewatched the movie, AND THEYRE RIGHT. I’m actually so intrigued by the dynamic of megamind, metroman, and Roxanne- I need to spin them around. What if someone else besides Metroman in their trio went missing, assumed dead. What if Roxanne got turned into a hero Raghghgh implications I love

Kung Fu Panda - PO AND THE FURIOUS FIVE ARE IN LOVE OK? They start to realize something in one, two is the pining, three is the established relationship. The show also proves this btw, my polyamory

Ones I have watched but can’t really recommend, I see the vision tho!

Tremors (movie) - tbh I don’t really care about this one so I can’t super say I recommend it, but I definitely see what it’s talking about.
