despite  seeming  like  one  of  the  least  sentimental  people  on  the  planet,  chloe’s  actually  a  nostalgic  sap.  for  example,  the  book  she  brought  to  the  opals  sleepover  was  a  childhood  favorite,  the  lion,  the  witch  and  the  wardrobe.  she  saves  things  from  important  moments  in  her  life  to  look  back  on  and  when  she  does,  they  bring  her  a  sense  of  contentment  that  not  much  else  does.

            ────  𝒕𝒉𝒆  𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓  𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕  𝒂𝒕  𝒕𝒉𝒆  𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒓  𝒘𝒂𝒔  𝒂  𝒃𝒍𝒖𝒓  to  arah.  there  were  too  many  noises  that  collided  with  one  another,  it  was  hard  to  tell  who  was  doing  what.  she  could've  sworn  she'd  heard  noah's  voice  amongst  the  chaos,  thus  going  on  to  invite  him  over  the  next  day.  she  was  sat  at  his  desk  when  she  heard  him  enter  her  room.  cricket  gave  a  jovial  bark  at  the  visitor  before  retreating  back  to  his  bed.            ❛  now  that  you're  here,  we  can  finally  start.  ❜            she  gestured  towards  the  gift  laid  out  on  the  floor,  ranging  from  scarily  expensive  gifts  to  gag  gifts.            ❛  did  you  bring  the  wrapping  paper  like  i  asked  ?  ❜            only  because  one  christmas,  she  ended  up  buying  happy  birthday  wrapping  paper  and  had  far  too  much  pride  to  go  back  and  return  it.            ❛  i  trust  you  can  keep  all  these  gifts  a  secret  ?  ❜
