CH10 News: D8 Summit, Central Corp, History Lesson High King Sario Atoshi High Queen Miana Atoshi Race: Human District Elected From: Old Japan Election Process: Democratic Vote First a history lesson: High King and Queen Districts democratically vote in a leader they would like to be nominated to be High King or High Queen. Those nominations are reviewed by the current council, and two are selected. Those two then go through a full city democratic vote held on Saturday and Sunday. One leader is elected, if the elected individual is married, they both receive the title of High King and High Queen, or in some cases High Kings, High Queens. If they are not married, they have three days, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday to pick a partner to rule with. If no partner is selected, Thursday Morning a marriage is arranged by the District Leaders. Friday evening festivities begin. Saturday evening marriage ceremony. Sunday is a day of reflection, where the leaders are left alone before assuming their roll. Monday morning business resumes as usual with the new leaders. High Kings and Queens may only be voted in for twelve years. Voting happens at the end of year one, three, six, and nine. Year one is just incase a mistake was made in the selection process.
