Next robot deep dive video is on this goober, the Hubot. I've got an entire archive of everything to know about em in my A.V.R.T.C Wiki
Its basically the equivalent of a Kaypro IV on wheels that can speak, alongside having multiple A/V internal devices:
Atari 2600
AM/FM Radio
Stereo Cassette Deck
TV Tuner
My idog collection, circa 2006 or 2007. I should do a current one but look like shit right now because strep.
Hubot the Robot 3D Model!!!
As always for my Obscure Vintage Tech YouTube series I create some sort of model to make up for the fact that these things never have lots of footage or high-res pictures-
-so here's Hubot! This one was SO complicated to make, the shape of the body and all the details for the A/V units were insane. This is gonna make the video way more fun though!

hey i remembered how to model again
Just made a breakthrough on there actually being pictures of the prototype Hubot unit vs the final product.
The proto unit noticeably has a much larger bottom logo (even one unit with it painted black?), and the black circles near it now being on the inside indent instead of facing front.
(Pics #1-2 are proto, #3 is release)
The prototype unit also has a unique face with larger gaps between characters, but weirdly there's these two promotional images that swaps between the proto and retail face??? So maybe its a face we haven't seen yet cause the software hasn't been emulated, but still a possible prototype software.
(Btw btw if you wanna read more about Hubot I have everything u need on A.V.R.T.C)
