While post-mortem photos were real in Victorian times, she looks too "alive" to me.

So I found this part of a post card among the many pictures that belonged to my grandma, there were pictures in there from her parents and great grandparents families. It looks like this used to be framed, and the name written on the back says
Silvy Gaudy as Charlie Chapman New York City
So I think this depicts a cross dressing cosplaying woman with her poodle. Who was this woman? I don’t know but she seems too ooze queer energy and confidence.
So Happy Pride Silvy Gaudy whoever you were you seemed cool.
