i'm (mostly) fine with the concept of louis and lestat not being physically intimate in season 3. i (mostly) understand what rolin is trying to accomplish and how he wants to make us ache for it. i understand long form storytelling requires tension and buildup and telling lestat's backstory is an essential part of this season. it is THE most essential part. i understand louis and lestat cannot get to where they need to be until the fallout from the book is tackled and lestat is permitted to be a fully-fledged character and not simply a memory or a ghost in someone else's story. i know that...
but.
if we reach the end of the season and louis and lestat haven't at least made out sloppy style backstage once............... i am certainly going to have some things to say about that.
