I had a conniption that I didn't feel human, that I was some critter other than this stupid body. I did research. I had heard of the term therian before but didn't know exactly what it meant, but I had friends that were therianthrophes who who made me curious. When I researched more and more I understood more and more about myself. It was like finally emerging through fog. I'm a physical therian/holothere! How did I come to that conclusion? A whole bunch of factors.

My big conniption included species dysphoria, but I wasn't exactly sure what species it was for. I just didn't want to be human. I experienced mental shifts frequently as well as other shifts, although I wasn't exactly aware they were shifts before (I thought it was something else?). I experienced a prey drive... Specifically towards squirrels and rabbits. My personality and mood is similar to that of my theriotype (not a big determining factor, but still one). I always thought of my "hands" as paws, never the latter. I often craved my theriotypes dietary foods badly, to the point I would get up in the middle of the night to just feel the correct texture in my mouth. On that note I'm also very crepuscular, no explanation needed there. On top of dysphoria I also experienced euphoria when wearing gear, like to the point I forgot to breathe... Whoops. I had the instincts of my theriotype quite often! Except for mating instincts I'm asexual lol. I believed my body was not human. When I saw my theriform theriotype I always thought "wow... I wish that was me" Or when I discovered I was them "wow! It's me. I love being me" or something along those lines and felt instantly connected and that I was that creature. I And last... When I figured out my theriotype, I identified as them on all levels. after a long time of questioning I accepted myself
