You've probably answered this before but how old were you when you first met Oisin? I wonder because I met a spirit when I was 17 ( but didn't recognize him as such at the time ) and now I'm working towards cultivating a relationship with him ( within his wishes, of course ).
I first met Oisin when I was 4 years old. I had dreams of an antlered man in brown robes surrounded by woodland creatures, and at the time I thought he was St. Francis. I dreamed about "St Francis" on and off my entire childhood. Then around 11 I left the Church and I started experimenting with Wicca. I didn't have the dreams for a couple of years, and I just sort of shrugged and moved on, I was in my "must worship goddesses" phase anyway. Until I was in Ireland on an exchange trip freshman year of high school, when I saw Oisin as himself for the first time. Though I called him the Horned God, because I didn't know any better.
It took until I was 19 for me to earn the knowledge of his true identity, and for us to grow from friends/teacher and student to lovers.
Mr Stag and I have a similar story of being friend from 2nd grade, growing up together, etc to now being engaged. It's not so much that I have a type, it's that I have a pattern, and that pattern is extreme demisexuality. It takes me my whole life to fall in love with someone.
