Two days ago, Bagi post a video she took on Lollapalooza where Matt is playing guitar in the stage with a band.

I will be referring to this band just as band and will not mention the nam. Because I do not desire to hold back in my language with "alleged"s and "supposed" but this band members have family connection with some powerful people in politics and on law. So understand that I do this to protect myself and not any of the involved.

After posting this video, people were quick to point out that this band has a horrible history of abusing women, and they couldn't understand how Matt and Bagi could have associated themselves with this kind of people. It got worse when people realized Matt wasn't just a random fan who was selected to join them on stage, but he was actually a close friend of the band members, having them playing on Obscuro: Cortina de Fogo, even having lived with one of them before and people found post of him public defending these men on the cases of abuse.

While Matt and Bagi were on Lolla and obviously not checking twitter at this point in time, people had decided to mainly ask Bagi to position herself about the subject, while only a couple people talked about the actions of the band, of Matt or from the festival for allowing people with this type of history to play.

Bagi made a post explaining that she didn't have any idea about their history. She had heard from Matt that one of the members had cheated on his partner, but it was the extension of what she knew.

At first, I admitly thought she was minimizing things, but upon confirmation of multiple people, yes, Matt purposefully lied to her and hid the truth about the abuse.

Matt later on would make his own post. He admitted to having simply bought the version of facts the abusers gave to him. I think it is not negligent to talk about this, that what happened was simply the silence agreement that existed between men. It felt more comfortable for Matt to simply pretend to not see what happened, and him hiding the truth from Bagi showed me that deep down, he knew it was wrong.

One of the abusers commented under Matt's post, saying he always knew everything and tried to paint Matt as a social cimbler. I will not entertain much of what this man says. We can shit on Matt for being an enabler, but do not forget that this is the abuser and his words means nothing.

I also would like to bring up that I mentioned that Matt lived with one of them, but I would neglect to also not explain that Matt was a super fan of the band and a 17 years old boy while they were all grown men with a career on the industry already, while not big on national terms, it was not negligent. It doesn't surprise me that when Matt finally spoke up and took responsibility, and decided to cut ties with them and delete his project Cortina de Fogo that they throw in his face "all they did for him".

While Matt is responsible for his own actions, I do believe he was also (non-sexually)grommed by them.

It is not negligent to me that Bagi made a post answering the comment of said band member telling him that he of all people doesn't has space to speak about this, that Matt did a shit thing to her and all the victims. That she told in Matt's face that if he didn't cut ties with these people, she would never be able to look him in the eyes again.

Bagi acknowledged both that they manipulated him, and in turn, Matt protected them and even, in a way, manipulated her.

I don't wanna speak about their relationship because Bagi herself seem to not know what will happen from here on, and I think on light of everything, maybe it is best that nobody but them both decide what their relationship will look like now.

I don't think I will be able to forgive Matt for the shit he did, but I do believe he is capable of changing. Deleting Cortina de Fogo was a big thing because if anybody who liked Matt's work knows, that was a baby to him and a extremely personal work.

Acabei de acordar e descobri esta merda gigantesca e estou desapontado e triste para um caralho.

Matt Cinemagrath foi ao palco junto com uma banda que ele é muito fã e inclusive amigo intimo dos integrantes ao qur parece, acontece que membros dessa banda tem alegações de abuso e pedófila contra eles.

Descobri isso hoje porque vi o post da Bagi, porque cobraram posicionamento dela. O resumo do post na minha perspectiva: Ela não conhecia a banda direito e também não conhecia todas as alegações e o que ouviu foi do Matt e dos envolvidos e ela foi bem estúpida estúpida de confiar na palavras deles. Ela pediu desculpa e mencionou que houve rompição de laços, não estarei especulando que laços e com quem.

Acho um absurdo que cobraram mais posicionamento dela do que do Matt, mas também não vou tirar a culpa dela que se ela tivesse só dado um google tinha descoberto essa história toda antes, acho que foi estupidez e ignorância dela mesmo.

Enquanto ao Matt, eu quero que ele se foda. Eu não vou medir palavra não, ele tem mais que tomar no cu mesmo.

Porque eu só vejo duas alternativas

Ou ele sabia de tudo e mandou um fodasse para as vítimas porque ele se importava mais com a musiquinha dos pedófilos.

Ou ele sabia e acreditou na versão dos fatos desses arrombados, o que para mim não é diferente da primeira opçãi

Sem falar de não ter contado as polêmicas todas para namorada que é uma pessoa pública e visto ela fazendo post de apoio ao projeto dele e não mencionado nada.

Acho ainda mais absurdo ELA ter feito um posicionamento antes dele, que tá quietinho sem falar nada sobre isso.

Vou esperar o posicionamento dele para minha visão final da situação, mas não vejo como ele pode justificar o que aconteceu.

Eu tô chateada para caralho, tive um dia meio ruim ontem e acordei para um pior, desculpa se meu post não tá muito compreensivo. Só queria acordar e descobrir que tudo foi um pesadelo.
