I love a good angsty Steve fic but what I love specifically is when it’s a wheeler!reader, and maybe when Steve and Nancy are still dating he notices how the reader is missing/clearly the afterthought (ex. the whole family didn’t notice that the reader wasn’t at dinner, they forgot the readers birthday, being more excited when Nancy graduated) and bit by bit Steve and reader get closer cause he understands the feeling (maybe they’re get together in the end) :)
Awww, I LOVE this idea. The hurt, Steve recognising himself in reader because he knows exactly what it feels like to be overlooked... ouch. 😭 Definitely adding this to my requests list! Thank you so much for sending it in, lovely. 💛
