The characterization of Logan is pretty sound; it actually takes some cues from Old Man Logan in the beginning. Him in solitude, having made a vow not to hurt anyone after what happened in Last Stand.

If you're interested about Viper's characterization...she's an evil doctor who has serpent-like powers. She calls herself Viper and wears green. That's only the real similarity to her comics counterpart.

It's not a bad movie; it's just not as faithful an adaptation of the original mini as they claimed. There are certain scenes lifted; ala the scene with the bear and the hunter, but it's more of an homage than anything else.

It's better than Last Stand and Origins. Not quite up to par with X2 and First Class. I guess I like it more than the first film? Far from the best X-Film, far from the worst.
