guys there's kinda hinted educational/socio economical /family background difference between price and soap. price is just determinedly more bookish/well educated or well eloquent than soap in general. it's not just an age thing i guess. when you take the dialogues and monologues from og mw, the most educated person might be makarov>price>shepherd. makarov has very unique personality lol and he can be quite extraordinary figure if he's in Soviet or imperial Russia. and price talks streams he can't be stopped… shepherd is a general but he's more military Bureaucracy ish in his mannerisms. and soap is so fun. one thing he almost never swears in mw2 established that he's quite reserved and genteel regarding to emotions and interaction with others. another thing is his way of talking is very down to earth and graphic and funny using lot of slangs and terms. "if he's the piece of meat makarov wants let's hang it from a tree" "these things don't grow on trees" lol what's ur matter with trees. in conclusion it's simply soaps kinda under educated to deliver bookish or long eloquent sophisticated words out there. but from his journal we know that he's actually so considerate and concerning and very sentimental and emphatic. he's actually self aware of his own lack of education to say big pretty words so he chose silence over really giving out his real thoughts… in a way he's humble and low ego /self esteem as usual…(and he misspelled several words in his journal…)
