I don’t think he treats his fans with disrespect because they’re women like certain other characters do, he would no doubt treat men the same. He’s just not good with treating people the way they should be treated (but he’s learning. I believe in him.)

It’s great when you find a game/series that just clicks with you, but it also sucks when you finish it and get that weird “what was even my life before I was playing this?” feeling, so it’s hard to find a good balance between that and “I need to play 90000 hours of this” right?

Charon, no question.Yeah, Faba kinda had the plot attention I wanted for Charon, and oddly a lot of traits that I headcanoned for the guy. But he kinda... doesnt actually have a soft spot? I find it really odd that out of all sneaky ego villain archetypes in the franchise HE is the one who gets redeemed! He didnt really earn it tbh, aside from being generally funny and loveable, but all of them were that :P He didnt have a super affecting secret backstory like Charon that totes flipped my perspective on the dude and inspired a bazillion headcanons since the damn game never explores the possibilities in length >_<Also, it kinda soured my opinion on Faba that AS SOON AS the fandom started liking him it was universally accepted as a headcanon that he’s actually 20-something and hot. Why is the majority of pro-Faba fandom all about sexualizing him?? I have nothing against non-asexual people but I’m always a bit sad whenever i like a character and their tag is so full of sex stuff that its hard to ignore. Its why I disliked Kukui until i actually played the game and got to see he had more to him than just ‘is sexy’. He’s cute and dad and I want him to be my dad, and not my ‘daddy’ :P Same opinion about Faba :PSo yeah now its impossible to look at Faba and think he’s a grandpa even though I really thought he looked like a grandpa. Everyone disagrees so much, and I have low self-confidence! So he cant be the best grandpa if he’s not a grandpa. He can just settle for being the best non-grandpa scienceman. He’s the uncle. Like literally I started headcanoning he’s related to charon as a nephew-in-law, and also he’s Petrel’s dad or uncle or maybe petrel is if charon and faba fused into a fifty bazillion years younger guy SOMEHOWAnyway I like Faba, Charon and Petrel XDOh, and Faba is fabulous but somehow I think Charon has a more endearing character design. Faba looks smug while Charon looks like... he’s smug but he’s also pitiful and has absolutely no chance of living up to his own ego. Faba looks more competant and he actually was rather successful at the start of the game, yknow? Short chubby huggable grandpa with big sad soulful eyes and a drab gray outfit like he hate’s his team’s uniform and his only weird feature is the glasses and the weird moon hair and srsly i love im. Faba’s design is great in a different way, he’s like a eurovision contestant who looks like he’d be insanely fun to hang out with, even if he’s a bit smug. Faba my buddy, Charon my actual grandpa I want to swaddle in blankets and protect from the world. (...as he simultaneously tries to escape and destroy the world)I HAVE COMPLEX FEELINGSBasically I wanna hug every pokemon villain except the child abuse ones.
