He’d been sleeping in his little room for a couple of days as a way of secretly staying up way passed bed time, but Tucker didn’t need to know that. He’d spent most of that alone time having extra play time or watching movies he wasn’t allowed to watch because they were “scary”. He’d been so annoyed when Tuck had veto’d a few movies for that reason, but he’d let it slide until it was nearing Halloween and he really wanted to watch - he wasn’t even sure what it was called but it involved very scary creatures. Now two days later he was still having nightmares. He’d been in bed with the blankets over his head trying to convince himself the sound he was hearing was just the wind until there was a bump in the night that sent him sprinting down the hallway into Tucker’s room and ended with a fierce leap into the bed. “Daddy!” he whispered frantically. “Daddy, I heard a noise! Something is definitely in this house. We’re going to die, we have to get out of here. There’s no time to wake Mr. Abel and Noah, we gotta go before it gets us!” @ofcontrxl
