Also this is months late but the Oersted in Near Future post had me thinking about Oersted in hot topic. He fought me on this every sentence so I had to spawn him in the hot topic AND give him earrings. <3 ----- "I will look foolish." He says. He feels foolish, merely being in this place. He doesn't deserve-- Akira dangles the earrings in his face again, and Oersted cannot stop the glare aimed at her. "C'mon, man. Five seconds, a little spin," She demonstrates the spin she wants him to do, "and if you really dislike 'em, I'll back off." Akira is very good at pushing his boundaries. Oersted, in theory, should be rather opposed to spending time with her, but she has proven horrifically good at getting him to experience new things. "…I do not wish for my ears to be--" "Yeah, I know man. They're clip on." She sticks one of the earrings onto her ear, still leaving her own piercings in. He looks closer. They do seem to clip onto the ear… "See?" She says, "It's easy." He squints at her. She is incredibly annoying. But… the design of the earrings, it is utterly captivating. A four-pointed star, soft gold in color, with sparkling flecks of red.
…He really likes how they look.

"…fine. Show me how to put them on." He glances away, carefully tucking his hair behind his ear. "…please." She beams, utterly delighted, and easily affixes the earrings onto his ears. They do not hurt, but feel odd. Easily, Akira leads him over to a mirror, and he looks at himself. The earrings look nice on him. He likes them. He smiles, small and subtle, and he only rolls his eyes once when he sees Akira do a "fist pump" in the reflection.
