FOOD TRIP PART 2
Oedo Japanese Restaurant is a pretty chill hangout spot located in Sto. Domingo Street just a few blocks away from the busy foodie mecca of Banawe Avenue. From the outside, Oedo Japanese Restaurant looks like a hair taken away from the identity of Little Tokyo restaurants in Makati City. Its ironic nondescript yet flamboyant display of lanterns clearly looked like a house that has been transformed into a two-story restaurant.
I appreciate the wide and welcoming outdoor seating that guests can alight for a quick spicy salmon sashimi fix (yup my comfort food huhu) during the afternoons, or a good round of sake at night. The interiors are also well-thought of, with the intricate Japanese murals, and the displays of wine bottles on the walls. We ordered Kani salad, Shrimp Tempura, Salmon Sashimi, and some maki. And, the highlight of our meal (read: highlight kasi grabe ang mahal jsq tagsimot ang bulsa jk) the massive Wagyu beef.
For dinner, we tried Hukad’s newest offer: their unlimited Filipino Fiesta. It has a variety of meat and vegetables, street food, fruits, and a lot more. But of course, eyes on the prize. I did not even think for a minute in diving into the Cebu Lechon and Baked Scallops. Pictures even show how much I enjoyed the balat.
I can imagine how much workout I need to do next week to make up for everything I ate, but no regrets, really. Good food, good mood (as always lol *wink).
WHAT IS CREED’S REAL NAME!?!? THE PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW!! 🗣🎤
