If I had to pick a time for a temporary filing to fall out, the night before a dentist appointment would be right up there lol
Just got a call from my dentist's receptionist that went like this:
Receptionist: "I noticed you have an appointment for next week, but a slot opened up this afternoon. Would you like that instead?"
Me (immediately on the verge of a panic attack): "Yeah, no, thank you but no, uhm... (some more vague stuttering)... You see, I'm really scared of the dentist, so it's bad enough that I have to go next week, you know? I can't, I really can't, not today (more stuttering)."
Receptionist (sounding surprised but thankfully understanding): "Okay, see you next week then."
Me: "Kthankyoubye!"
Aaaaand then I had to calm myself down from hyperventilating.
That next appointment is going to be fun!/s
