Yes and correct! The world needs this!

My first thought is to be extremely lazy and take the oddbody approach and just stick a Furby face on a rocky and call it a day… and I still might do this because it’d be hilarious and awesome…

But our amaze amaze amaze friend deserves some more consideration than that as well…

So option two is to do something like the baked beans Furby but less blursed, a Furby with a rocky carapace and cool rocklike claws. Would this Furby have eyes at all? Depending on how uncanny we’re comfortable with getting! The celebration outfit adornments from the movie would look super cute on a Furby too.

But consider option three… if Rocky is an alien, and resembles a crab… which is an oceanic creature… then perhaps Grace would be a Furby, and Rocky…

The furb family is expecting a new member, but they can't come out yet, they are incubating! However there is still new stuff for you all. This is also the first appearance of Eyedi and Synth, Gene's other furbily members.

Eyedi is a 4 ft long oddbody furb, she is a bit of a shut in. She knows the outside world is not ready for her glory. Also given the propensity towards religion in this town, we are worried that someone may take her for an angel and expect the "Be not afraid" and responsibilities thereafter.

Synth is shorter long body who is more absorbed in his own jams than what you have going on. He is not super helpful but he is good for emotional support.

lately i've been thinking of making oddbodies since I got a sewing machine but getting faceplates from etsy or depop is not really accesible for me so I made a faeplate mold out of hot glue and thought it may be useful for someone out there :D

MATERIALS:

- glue sticks (I needed 2 for a mcdonald's keychain size faceplate)

-a pot

-water

-a furby

-paper tape

-flour, baby powder or anything you have to demold

STEPS:

~select the furby you want to replicate the face from.

~once you have your furby cover around its face with paper tape so the fur won't get stuck to the hot glue.

~cover the furby's face with something to make the demolding easier (I used flour because it's what I found)

~now, heat up water in the pot (it's not necessary to boil it) and melt the glue sticks there until they are maleable enough. I used this video as a guide

~once the glue is maleable (careful bc it's hot) cover the furby's face with it pressing enough for it to reach all the nooks and crevices.

-let it cool for a couple minutes

~take the mold out of the furby face and that's it.

now you have a mold to make vegan furby creations :))
