I am a huge fan of Dropout's "Dimension 20", and have enjoyed Brenna's work since he was making a Webcomic back in the day, but "Fantasy High" has certainly been on of my favorite settings. That favor is in no small part to how much the resplendent Ally Beardsley put themselves into the character of Kristen Applebees, and how I got see them put humor on to all dark things I could relate to. That said when Wormtime started posting really fun animatics about the latest season of "Fantasy High, Junior year", i lucked out that youtube starting sending them my way. For me it was really meaningful to watch Ally play Kristen Applebees through learning Chaos isn't always cute, and watch Kristen do her best to make something that was going to work for her long time. I think Wormtime really captured the highs and lows of what I was resonating with along side an excellent melody of Melancholy by Boygeniues. It lays out Kristen's story of loneliness, community, and the meaningful moments of doubt in all our lives. I hope y'all find to be to your liking, and TTY'allL

This is an animated short film I made while I was bored... as always. Is the young man dreaming of two artwork becoming disfigured? Are the two artwork making the young man dream about them as they become disfigured? Who knows... you decide for yourself. I honestly don't know what them I was going for this piece of animation, but I just thought it would be an interesting project for 2017. 

Goodbye, Lara is an interesting new anime project by Kinema Citrus that I really like the looks of. At a glance it reminds abit of a version of Ponyo with more of studio Ghibli's early sensibilities, think Nausicaä or Castle in the Sky. I am having trouble finding details on if it's to be a show length production, or a movie, but that might be a reading comp issue on my end. All in all, I wanted to mention it as I will be keeping my eye on it.

Both the character and sound design are quite good. For the sound they are able to que it to the animation quite smoothly, but also there is just really well timed sounds effects for making a richer world, and music is well used in the story telling from an intro song for their customer "The Ace of Wands," and also as part of a well pace montage. This all makes sense when you realize sound was directed by Kennedy Phillips, who has done some excellent work on other projects like Hazbin Hotel. In terms of character design, I think the work done on Maulie allows her to be quite emotive and relatable, while still being monstrous. Like her eyes have very distinct pupils, but we as an audience can still tell how she's feeling. Cleaveland gives an impression of a relaxed older Lounge Lizzard, perhaps an intentional choice given his reptilian appearance, and experienced mentor vibe. Finally, their client, The Ace of Wands, gives of a generic wizard vibe, and that might sound like a put down, but it works well with overall conflict of the episode in a way I find quite clever. All in all I am excited to seem more of Dungeon Flippers, and enjoyed the patient hope of Maulie building towards her goals. The way the passing lights of the endless road pass them by is really lovely. Yohei☆Kameyama's description "In the galaxy far far far away, there is an interplanetary road called Milky☆Highway. To kill time during a weekend, Makina the cyborg and Chiharu the super human decide to go for a drive. Wherever those troublesome friends drive, there is always a danger! Not smart, not tear-jerking, not touching. The only two words that can describe this discount cyberpunk story is Speedy and Unprecedented!!"

Lemonsamurai does some nice animation work with Blender to bring alive two very cute moments in the life of Link and Zelda(from the BotW/TotK time period.) The comedic time and wind ups and pay off of the shorts is great, and will remind you why you love these dorks.
