Okay, to be fair, he's known this for a while now. But as he's currently walking through the Dark World, it's the only thing circling in his head while he stares at the back of this giant Barney knock-off. How does he even get here, I hear you ask? Well, I don't, but if I don't say that, I can't continue—so that's what you're saying. He doesn't know. But what he does know is that this world makes him feel like he's taken so much acid it’d put a hippie to shame.

His eyes flick back and forth between his friends and the surrounding area, taking in the strange world they're once again trapped in. Why is no one questioning this? Is anyone even wondering why they've been gone for ages? Nah… they’ve probably just assumed this is what teenagers do: disappear for hours. Suppose that's not completely untrue.

A voice snaps him out of his thoughts, making him turn as Kris mutters to themself about something—he can't make out what. Something about players and puppets? Maybe they’re thinking about Spamton, who he’s been trying his hardest to forget about since meeting him. What a strange little guy.

Ralsei walks ahead, talking to Susie about… something. Likely scolding her for her foul language, since she’s been especially sweary lately. Suppose this world brings it out of you, with all the fuckery that happens here. Seriously, what the fuck is happening with Rouxls Kaard? ...Actually, it’s probably best not to think about it. Again, he’s trying not to, but being stuck with his own thoughts on this boring trek is not helping him, honestly.

Well, until they have to stop—realising they've reached somewhere they really shouldn't have.

Being stuck in that arena had been one thing; having a giant blonde beast running at her had been another. At that moment, she’d had two options: try to get through the bloodbath to grab supplies and risk Cato catching her, or run into the treeline to escape him… Yeah, she'd gone with the latter. It had seemed safer.

She had turned quickly, speeding off into the trees, acutely aware that he was, in fact, still following behind her. Her feet had thudded against the undergrowth as she’d evaded him, weaving between trees, hoping it would slow him down. It hadn’t. He’d still been right behind her, not stopping for anything…

Well, except for the ledge of rocks she had just launched herself over. She had landed hard on the other side—how she hadn’t broken her knees, she would never know—but she hadn’t. She had only skidded, scraping her leg a bit. Looking up, she’d seen him stop, standing still on the rocks above, watching her. Both of their chests had risen and fallen rapidly as they caught their breath.

Silence had fallen between them, broken only by the sound of water in front of her and birds overhead. She had knelt by the water, scooping it into her hands and drinking. It hadn’t been much, but it had been something.

The sharp crack of bark had made her head snap up—he was scaling down a large log toward her. She had scrambled, trying to get up, her feet skidding on the gravel beneath her. Eventually, after finding her footing, she’d attempted to scurry away from him—more out of desperation than strategy. He was double her size, and she definitely couldn’t fight him off right then. Running had been her only option.

Unfortunately, he had been faster. He’d grabbed the collar of her shirt, yanking her to a stop.

“Caught you, fawn.”

A/N: hello guys! Another Wednesday another story. This time about mine and my friends ocs zakki and friends inspired by my friend @ninesillywaffles doodles of them! Enjoy!

Waking up at 6 a.m. is the worst at the best of times. Waking up at 6 a.m. because your friends have is even worse, which Ezra is now painfully aware of as he sits on his bed, coffee in hand, trying to cling to any last shred of sanity he might have had. There it is—nope, it's gone.

He considers just going back to sleep—he really does—but that’s before Silli starts up some loud game. Something about magic cookies?? What kind of games are they giving kids nowadays?

“Silli, turn it down,” he groans, spotting Leo waking up because of it. Poor kid. Or, well, he’d feel worse, but if Ezra has to be up because of it, so does everyone else. That’s totally the rule. That he definitely didn’t just make up right this moment.

Ezra stretches, gets up, puts his empty cup down on the kitchen table, and starts making breakfast for everyone. Fairy bread toast for Silli—because she refuses to have Pop-Tarts this morning, so he gets creative. Pancakes shaped like bears for Leo, with extra syrup. Fox-shaped eggs for Zakki. He hasn’t decided what he wants yet—probably a plain full English or whatever’s left after cutting off the others' breakfasts.

After a while of cooking, he brings the plates in, handing them out with each person’s drink of choice before grabbing his own and settling back on the couch to watch them all for a moment before starting to eat.

It’s honestly weird for a boy who spent so much of his life alone (besides that strange talking toad of his that he has yet to wake up). He’d almost forgotten how nice it is to be surrounded by people you love.

Yeah. This is the life.

-doesn't really mind

-isn't the type to seek out to be cuddled all the time but will allow you to cling to him

-head kisses king

-holds your hands though, likes to feel your pulse when he does

Marko:

-loves it but he absolutely Will not tell you that

-trying to hide his purring (he cannot)

-already melted at the hugs, melted more at the hair playing

-won't let you do it in public, will allow it privately though (or if you beg)

IGgy:

-another one that will just let you cling to him

-not the best to cuddle with, ominous phone sounds

-beware the random sharp objects he carries, and that phone wire ofc

-will read to you while you cling to him if he was reading at the time

-usually busy, and enjoys watching you beg to do it

Soundwave:

-also very clingy lol

-loves loves cuddling and holding hands with you

-can't stay still though, like at all, he's always jittering

-his music is also really loud, so if you're wanting to nap I would avoid doing so, it's not worth it

-will sing to you while you're cozied up!

-6/10 cuddler

Moth:

-not really a cuddler unless he's really drunk

-will let you curl up on his lap while he's gambling though

-another one you'd have to beg to really cuddle with

-not clingy but is usually touching you ie. Hand on your waist/knee, wants others to know what's his

-always welcome for clingyness and affection

-he thinks it's so cute!

-wraps his whole body around you

-also pretty clingy, he'd be in your skin if he could

-is a bite risk though so be aware of that

-not so clingy If he's in a bad mood though but thats pretty rare
