Though I haven't read the Blue Cult Arc yet the sheer amount of hate towards this poor girl is absolutely insane it baffles me how people fail to forget she was groomed into thinking what she was doing was right and she didn't even mean to kill Snake she accidentally killed him because Snake being the kind hearted guy he is wasn't going to let Freckles go bat shit on that girl lmao i feel she really deserves a lot more respect as a character and call me crazy but i think this might be just the misogyny you get with mangas/animes that are male led or male centered. Her actions in my opinion are a completely valid result of losing what was safe to you which was her family. I've seen a lot of people compare her to Ciel which makes a lot of sense it's just people don't understand nor her or Ciel or a lot of characters in this story are not the best people they are honestly terrible people and thats exactly what makes them so compelling.
