toge had been checking his reflection before he'd promised to meet yuta for a walk on their break from class. he'd changed out of his uniform and into a pastel shirt and his favorite loose black cropped pants to go with his white sneakers. he was just fixing his hair when he heard yuta behind him. turning to look at him, he gave a coy smile, shrugging his shoulders. then he suddenly took a run at him and jumped into his arms, winding his arms around his neck and legs around his waist. that playful spirit of his couldn't be stifled by anything.

Tengen was quiet, knowing that his wife needed to get this out ... needed to express herself after the trauma of what had happened in the entertainment district. Sure, they were all well trained and more than used to death ... but that? That was above and beyond anything any of them had experienced, and Hinatsuru deserved to have a husband there for her.

Reaching out, Tengen was gentle as he took hold of her chin with a couple fingers, tenderly tipping her head up to look at him. His expression was oddly void of his usual smile, his gaze concerned and perhaps even a little ... sad.
