new character, for a pathfinder game im gonna be starting soon :D
RACE/CLASS: strix swashbuckler
APPEARANCE: tanned skin with darker facial markings, black eyes, grey hair, slit in their left eyebrow that they meticulously keep up. a little on the shorter side, probably 5'4". still a teen! probably seventeen or so years old.
EQUIPMENT: they wear a red bandanna and a light blue sleeveless shirt, with a strip of golden cloth for a belt. brown pants that stop above the (bird) ankle, no shoes. in normal times, they wear leather armguards that have cord with beads strung on it wrapped around the armguards. they carry a flyssa, which is a long slightly one-sided blade with no guard/hilt.
BACKSTORY: theyre the younger of two kids, born to a lower-middle class strix family. their parents own a restaurant and their older brother works to help them, and all of them are busy enough that lynn feels neglected at home. as a result, they like to go out and be rambunctious with a specific gang of kids that they think are their friends. they're a bit cowardly and tend to run at the slightest hint of guards however, and their "friends" are not terribly happy about lynn leaving them all out in the cold like that, so they're sort of twisting lynn's arm and forcing them to go to the upcoming royal wedding and steal something of import to show their loyalty to their group. surely this royal wedding, which will be the first session of our campaign, will be totally fine and nothing bad will happen, haha.
PERSONALITY: outwardly they're very bold and outgoing and a little on the impulsive side. inwardly, they're very insecure, as all teens are wont to be. they crave validation and attention like no tomorrow, which is why they're acting out so much. they're a little bit transfem and haven't told their family, who still considers them a boy, and they feel weird and bad about that. they're a coward and would far prefer to run than face the consequences of their actions, but they want to be brave so badly. they're constantly in conflict abt who they want to be v. who they are right now, and they don't know how to reconcile those two sides at this point in time.
OTHER THINGS: theyre a real big foodie, due to growing up in the restaurant business. they're a thrillseeker and their current favorite hobby is jumping off of tall buildings for the rush. they love the color blue! that shawl they're wearing in their fancy outfit, the tassels are all bells! they're about to be the most annoying bitch at the function.
