thinking abt my ocs again and wanting to b annoying even tho i dont have time to draw rn.
during my anatomy + physiology class we’re learning abt the special senses and how outside stimulus turns into signals that get processed in the brain. oc mike dodn’t have that. in the place of his brain is a computer that tries very hard to mimic one. and holy shit- i gave him special glasses to help him filter light information so that *seeing* didnt take up too much memory in his head, but he’s also constantly conciously processing signals of touch, motion, sound, and a lot of functions that are supposed to be autonomic (if the system involves the brain at all)
mostly did that to him because personally i was asking “when and how does the photoreceptor signal turn into ~seeing~ a color”, so i decided to take that capability away from a character. but now that im learning the sheer amount of information that gets processed and filtered and etc- i feel kinda bad for my boy
