Kumar is Rat’s ex-boyfriend and first love. He’s a hybrid who was abandoned only a few days after hatching. it was cruel, but abandoning hybrid snakelets isn’t unheard of in Serpentine culture. He survived on his own, but he doesn’t remember his parents, and becuz he looks so different than most serpentine, it’s hard for others to tell what he is. He also has hella abandonment and control issues.

About Kumar’s Design: He has Fangpyre shaped fangs, Hypnobrai eyes, *although he can’t Hypnotize anyone* and Constrictai claws✨ btw in my Au, the Constrictai have long claws for digging, but they can still use their heads to burrow. which is something Kumar can’t do becuz of his Hypnobrai head shape😬🪏*

Kumar and Rat met right before the First Serpentine war, when they were both in their late teens. Kumar had always been a rebel, and he’s the reason why Rat’s such a Chaotic gremlin>:3🍋‍🟩!! he also gave Rat piercings and encouraged it to Rebel against her mother, Rokthara🔥🔥🔥

But a few days after they started dating, Kumar became more controlling and manipulative to Rat becuz he feared she’d leave him..

He’d Fat Shame her and make her feel wrong for wanting others to call her by its pronouns. And worst of All, Rat thought his behavior was love, so she stayed with him despite her mother telling her not to. After the Serpentine war, Rat and Kumar were both sealed in the Venomari tomb becuz they’re both half Venomari. But a few months after being in the tomb, Kumar dumped it becuz he felt like she was “too clingy* and emotional becuz she missed her mother.

Kumar Quickly forgot about Rat until Pythor took interest in her in season 1. Someone who Kumar is still very controlling about despite breaking up with her. Becuz in his mind, he believes that Rat belongs to him and no one else should have her.

When Rat was an Egg, it was abandoned by their Venomari Father, and they were raised by their mother in the Glacier Barrens, despite not fitting in with the other hypnobrai children.

When The serpentine tribes were sealed in the tombs, Teen Rat was separated from it’s mother and taken to the Toxic bogs to be sealed with the other Venomari, cuz they look more like a Venomari, and has Venomari abilities✨💚

A few decades later, When Lloyd released the Hypnobrai, Rat’s mother, Rokthara, immediately left her tribe to go find her daughter, but got lost after a few weeks, and never found the toxic bogs, and the other hypnobrai never found her..

When Pythor released the Venomari tribe, Rat was now a young adult and she had grew attached to Acidicus and the other Venomari. But she still missed her mother. Once Rat reunited with the hypnobrai at Ouroboros, they probably told Rat how Rokthara got lost, and was dead.

Rat had always tried to see the good in the humans, despite everything, but now they had grown to mistrust them and hate them ever since they separated their mother. And Rat felt really connected to Pythor and his plan for Revenge on the humans because of this. he was someone she could trust. I also headcanon Pythor as a Anacondrai/fangpyre hybrid, that’s why he looks so different. So Rat and Pythor also have that in common✨💜💚

Rat still loved being around the hypnobrai, and hung out with them a lot. It also liked to follow Skales around in Ouroboros NONSTOP, cuz he made her feel safe. Skales at first thought it was pretty annoying, but he Eventually got used to Rat's clingyness, and made her his second in command in S2 cuz of their loyalty to him:3

Skales - *Married in S7* Rat is super affectionate towards Skales in public. But Skales would rather show his affection in subtle ways. Such as Tolerating her, asking how her day was, and Making sure She is safe. He isn’t a big fan of being affectionate in public.

Pythor - *Started dating in DR S1* When Pythor’s in a good mood, he’s very affectionate and protective over Rat. He usually coddles them with pet names to try to make it feel as special as possible.

Skales Jr - Step Son. Rat acts more like a nosy friend, than a “normal” mom would. Skales jr mostly avoids her, because she’s always asking him what he’s up to, and getting up in his business. Rat’s not trying to be annoying, she’s just curious.

Charoite - Son. *After S15 dynamic* Rat absolutely LOVES her snakelet. She loves to sing to and play with him. Rat calls him “Gummy-worm” because he’s squishy and wormy, *As Rat would Explain*

Lore: Before becoming a wandering soul, Lethara was a woman known for her immense compassion—though to the people of her village, it seemed more like stupidity. She lived until the age of 35, dedicating her life to caring for others, sheltering strangers, and offering help even when no one else would. To her, human kindness still existed; people simply needed to be given a chance. And it was precisely that faith that ended up killing her. One night, while the authorities were chasing a wounded man begging for shelter, Lethara—believing he was yet another victim of the world’s cruelty—decided to hide him in her home. She never questioned his words too deeply. She never wanted to. She preferred believing that even broken people could change. But she was wrong. That man was not innocent.

He was a murderer.And the moment he had the chance, he stabbed her without hesitation. As she bled out on the floor of her own house—the same house where she had protected so many—Lethara felt something worse than pain: disappointment. Not toward the man… but toward herself. She had mistaken kindness for naïveté. And yet, even on the edge of death, she could not fully hate. In her final moments, she prayed. She simply sent out a desperate plea to whatever might be listening. And against all logic… she succeeded.

She returned as a ghost of relatively high rank, able to bring comfort to lost spirits, ease the fear of the dying, and even appear before certain people during moments of deep sorrow. Since their story covers them in a lot of different ages I decided to make a drawing of refined doodles to show what they looked like at different ages.

Lore/Story:

Haru and Kazuki grew up together in a small town. They were neighbors and loved to go to the beach together and when they would occasionally visit the city or a bigger town they loved playing the claw machines, even though they sucked at them. Kazuki had always been able to see spirits and apparitions while Haru could not, Kazuki had never told Haru about this because at first he was scared to scare him off then after knowing him he wasn't sure if he could keep it secret. After narrowly avoiding death in middle school Haru suddenly gained the ability to see spirits and apparitions too. At this point Kazuki helped Haru to acclimate to his new reality. Having another way to connect with each other made their bond closer and Kazuki began to develop feelings for Haru. When they made it to their second year in high school they took a visit to their favorite arcade where Kazuki finally won his first prize from a claw machine. Taking this as a sign he confessed his love to Haru that day and gave him the small rabbit plush. They started dating and by their third year of high school they'd planned their life together. They were gonna move to an apartment in Tokyo together where Haru would become a photographer while Kazuki would become a mechanic or some sort of engineer. They had secured their new apartment and one day Haru decided he was going to surprise Kazuki by decorating their apartment early and on the way back he was hit by a car and died. When he died his spirit was bound to that plush bunny he always carried around. Kazuki ended up getting the plush rabbit and quickly realized that it contained Haru's spirit. Unfortunately, this attracted evil spirits for reasons unknown to Kazuki. Fortunately for him and Haru however, with his death Haru gained the ability to take form of a kind of spirit creature himself which he could use to fight evil spirits. Kazuki did end up moving to the apartment where he and Haru had promised to live together and instead of following the dreams he had planned he wanders the dark streets of Tokyo fighting evil spirits and yokai.

Notes:

-These two are in the same world as my OCs Azzy, Kobe, and Apollo

-Some smaller details are subject to change in the lore as I figure out how spirit stuff works and solidify that though honestly I'm considering just making it not always make sense since death and what happens after it isn't really something we can really grasp the full scope of anyways

-When they would go to the arcade they wouldn't just do claw machines they'd do other games as well, hence another reason why they didn't win anything for so long. If they'd used all their money on claw machines they'd probably be able to win something sooner because of payout but they never did that. They also didn't get to go there a lot hence another reason they didn't win anything sooner. It's not really important but I know personally I would be a bit confused/bothered as to how the hell it took them that long to win something if I didn't have the context behind it so here it is.

Nick saying this to Morrigan after battle definitely stirs something inside of her, considering her mother never really praised her skills, and would only tell her she could always use some improvement

I think part of her wants to go into defensive mode like "Of course I did good, were you doubting me?"

She was raised by the temple elders- the other acolytes becoming something kind of like to siblings, though she never really bonded with them as such. It was Sister Ingrid who became the closest thing she'd ever have to a mother. She put the first training sword in her hands, teaching her that devotion (to some) is akin to strength. That faith held iron within it. Birthplace: Unknown. Rhiannon was left on the steps of a Selûnite temple as an infant, wrapped in a plain linen cloth and wearing only a bracelet of braided silver thread around her wrist. Job: Rhiannon is a Priestess of Selûne, originally bound to serve at the House of The Moon in Waterdeep before being abducted by the Absolute. After the events of BG3, she isolates herself due to the shame she feels after helping Astarion ascend. She rebuilt what she could, choosing to serve a small, remote chapel tucked deep into the woods, providing her services to a nearby hamlet with no one but Selûne to answer to. Phobias/Fears: Becoming helpless and being excommunicated by her sect. Hobbies: Rhiannon is an avid enjoyer of herbalism and gardening, making her own potions and tinctures from the things she grows in her garden. She can be caught gazing at the stars and charting the constellations after nightly devotionals. Would much rather write her thoughts down in a journal than speak them aloud.
