#oc jam

I wanna take this opportunity to talk a bit about TWO OCs, which is actually gonna be Vahn AND Triggers dynamic in my comic, Ghost Junk Sickness! Now that Space and I are done with the production on the comic, I wanted to look back at what we've done, and what I hope folks who read the story have fun picking up on. We always wanted to write something fun, but something very very messy. Queue Trigger, who recently left his two Exes and is on the run from the absolute shit show he caused in their wake and then: An earth shattering catastrophe happens, and he's all alone. Who does he come accross but Vahn- bloodied and confused, wandering out of a totalled hospital- and asks if they'd like a lift.... home? Little did he know, Trigger was inviting more than he bargained for into his life, and finds out that Vahn packs quite the punch to boot. His co-dependancy on the situation he left, as well as Vahn attatching themself to Trigger out of survival really made that combo entangled in drama and disaster. It was, of course, absolutely fun to make their bumpy journey pan out, Trigger owning up to his past, and Vahn coming to terms with some pretty hard truths. I think that with how much turmoil it caused readers to go through with the decisions that these two would make out of desperation and survival, as the writer- WELL Let's just say it was pretty entertaining XD Their characters are about owning up and self acceptance- and the journeys we have to go through in order to find that in ourselves are going to be bumpy, nonsensical, and full of tears- But in the end, it was worth finding out that part of us! I'm happy with their relationships outcome, and I hope long time readers will be too!

lil bonus under the cut too

Some follow ups to last night’s fun character design nonsense. Got Lola’s armor designed a bit more to my liking. Dragon-scale that is stronger than obsidian but flexible and smooth as silk (of course Lola made it herself, when she bested a dragon that was terrorizing a village she passed through). She’s got a belt holding up her skirt, buckled with a comically large button. Her wings are modeled after moth wings rather than butterfly wings. Also she is as physically strong as she is magically strong, so if you are attacking an innocent, you’re probably going to get your ass kicked by a three inch ball of justice.
