#oc cetus

So, here's a question: Can your characters make a sound that can be felt throughout the entire body, kind of like how alligators growl at low frequencies?

I just love the idea of petting a giant cutie like that and having them start to "rumble," making everything around them shake, from people to houses and boats :3

Most of my giant characters can make sounds that are both heard and felt. Cetus however is the only one that truly purrs. And those purrs are very deep and rumbly. :3

His purrs have different meaning depending on the situation. He'll purr when he's happy, content and relaxed. But he'll also purr to self soothe when really stressed, scared or in pain. He'll purr when trying to comfort someone else too.

Two examples comes to mind:

Cetus is declaring his sleepy resentment for snow/cold.

Would he defend them?

Since he lives in a secure bay area, there's not any dangerous wildlife around. Of course accidents can happen, like falling off a container or ladder. How he reacts depends on the situation and how stressed everyone is (the caretakers aren't gonna be stressed tho, but if other people are it complicates things). It can just be Cetus fussing over them or straight up bringing them to his nest. xD

IS CETUS NAMED AFTER THE GREEK KRAKEN

I named him Cetus because of its multiple references!

There's the greek Cetus, which is a large sea monster, often depicted as a serpentine fish. There's also the constellation Cetus! I mean look at this handsome
