Made an obsidian plugin! I use a wheel to make decisions when writing (or in general) and got tired of switching apps/devices when I needed to make a decision. It's not in the official repo yet so install is a pain but I'm super proud of it. Ft. my partially rebuilt writing vault.

small Obsidian plugin experiment
I made a small plugin for Obsidian that helps convert underscore-style Markdown formatting to HTML tags.
The plugin scans notes for patterns like _text_, *text*, or **text** and converts them into <i> and <b> HTML tags.
It can:
scan the current note or the entire vault
show a badge next to files that contain problematic formatting
generate a report with all affected notes
convert formatting directly from the file menu or report panel
