"Stupidly" in the sense that he figures Obi-Wan can take care of himself in a battlefield, but if that pirate touches his hand and makes an innuendo one more time--

(Admittedly this is inspired by me reading Jangobi fics and wanting Qui-Gon to try to block off his twenty-something apprentice from Getting Some from the Mandalorian dude because Qui-Gon disapproves of Obi-Wan's taste in partners, sometimes.)

(Obi-Wan pointed out that Qui-Gon had also gotten in the way with Quinlan, Siri, Satine, and Junior Senator Organa, and Qui-Gon hadn't disapproved of Obi-Wan's tastes then, he just wants to meddle.)

IDK what to do with this other than something about intentional chemistry being deliberately set up with a Traditional Love Interest and the unintentional being with Just Some Guy so the racism isn't forced in. There's not a direction to take this in, even for analysis, because the sample size is so small and it's just an accidental pattern at least partially based in 'the only girls in the prequels with any lines at all in more than one movie, or development on screen at all, are Shmi and Padme.'

TCW and Legends have more girls with more character development, but those are love interests added after the fact, and since the characters are very deliberately written/animated with chemistry in mind or not, instead of being reliant on actor chemistry or having an element of 'the character's race was undefined until we cast someone'... I don't know. It makes the decision for Obi-Wan's love interests being white blondes a lot more deliberate, while two of the three male characters I'm thinking of were live-action and I still have no idea where to take this.

The love interests I have on my mind in discussing this: Satine and Siri vs. Quinlan, Bail, arguably Jango

Haha okay! I feel like their relationship would be similar to my obikin, with some changes.

shops for groceries:

Siri would. Like I said before, Obi-Wan is horrible with his health, and Siri would just roll her eyes and call him a baby while picking up all the things he SHOULD be eating. 

kills the spiders:

Siri definitely. Obi-Wan would just be all ‘well its not like its bothering anyone’ and Siri is all ‘ME. It is bothering ME.’ and proceeds to almost use her lightsaber on it when it keeps getting away.

comes home drunk at 3am:

Honestly I don’t see Siri as the type to get drunk that much, I feel like she has a lot of control over her consumption. If it ever had to happen with Obi-Wan, it would be maybe once or twice, and probably be because of something that happened with Anakin. 

makes breakfast:

Siri. Obi-Wan would make breakfast for Anakin only because it would wake him up faster, but otherwise he wouldn’t indulge in it too often. Siri would kick that habit out of him even though her cooking skills are probably awful.

remembers to feed the fish:

Obi Wan like last time. Siri doesn’t have time for that, as much as she thinks the fish are cute her mind is elsewhere and while training Ferus or the like, and would be forgetful.

decorates the apartment

Hmmm Siri probably, only a touch. They’re both Jedi-Jedi (unlike Anakin) so they’re not into that much decoration, but I have a feeling after her whole undercover mission she started to personalize things more. She probably wanted to feel more like herself. 

initiates duets:

Ohhh definitely Siri. I bet she would get a kick out of teasing Obi-Wan, trying to get him to sing along to her favorite songs dramatically, even while on the battlefield. Obi-Wan continues to be dismayed.
