Entering the Lapis Ruins
Kittian and Obelynx (both beast/lunyr type)
This duo can be found prowling about in the desert wilds, coming out to hunt at night. They can also be found in people's home, enjoying domesticated life while scaring the superstitious neighbors. They're not actually omens or harbingers of such, but they do enjoy knocking things off the table, which is practically the same.
I went back and forth on the design for obelynx but I'm SOOO happy with how it came out
I imagine obsidikit would be a regular household cat that people think have a weird vibe and then you introduce it to sand one time and it evolves into an Elemon that will curse you if you brush it incorrectly.
The markings on Obelynx are somewhere between hieroglyphic/runic markings and leopard spots
Obsidikit is perfectly black and has an incredibly shiny coat to the point it's nearly reflective
