So I've watched the Hamifilm 3 times now...
and every single time I get to the end and Eliza sees the audience and gasps, my eyes start shooting out tears like a waterhose. I don't know what it is about that scene that gets me every time. There's just something about her reaction to knowing Alexander's story is being told and that millions of people know his story now that hits me right in my heart. I'm getting a little choked up just writing this. I just think it's an absolutely beautiful moment, one of my favorites in musical theatre history.
HELLO, WHERE IS TATIANA MASLANY @ HOLLYWOOD ARE YOU REALLY DUMB ENOUGH TO SLEEP ON THAT AMOUNT OF TALENT???
Saw Tatiana Maslany in Nassim the Play Off-Broadway yesterday and in Network on Broadway this afternoon. It's been a good two days.
