Brackenfoot was a stoic tom, he never said very much at Moonlight Meetings and he was very practical and tactical; that is all most cats really know about him. His own colony was closer with him, sometimes some would even see him smile… He always came across as angry or prideful to cats from other colonies, when really he was just quiet and often annoyed at others’ excitement for chatter after business was finished. Elmtail chose him as Second because of his seriousness, the Captain felt that it would help keep himself in line with what was needed.

Brackenfoot developed an illness over his lifetime that made him irritable, but even before that, he had little time for anything more than his job as an Envoy. His young years were a busy time for Envoys, as they were often the leaders of strike teams in the conflict with Marsh Colony. Peacetime brought free time and Brackenfoot thought that maybe he could try to settle down… Flamecloud was willing to give him a chance, she may have even loved him.

She is well muscled and of average height with powerful legs. Her medium length, wavey fur is golden and tawny to cream tabby with a darker dorsal stripe. She has a long scar across her face and golden honey amber eyes.

'Sure' as in confident, knowledgeable, and absolute in their ability, specifically in relation to the last part of their name 'Foot'. Surefoot is said to be as dark as the forest's shadow and as quick as a starling, she had long legs and large ears, shredded to bits from whipping through the branches like wind. Her eyes were said to be the cold blue of frost.

It is said that she was the first leader of Oak Colony and as such, has a commanding presence and quick judgment. She founded the tree climbing ways of Oak Colony and established their base in the cliffs to better protect kittens and elders from predators and the elements. It is said that she bested Deepmarsh and that is why Oak Colony kept the forest and banished Marsh Colony to the swamp.

Absolutely! Vinestripe was a very rebellious young cat and she often sided with her mother on things. She actually hated Elmtail when she was younger because she thought that her momma would be a better Captain. Her decision to wander into the Wastes was because she was looking for her mother... Meeting Deathcap changed her outlook on some things and later in life she realized that Stormclaw was actually pretty manipulative of her. She loves Elmtail like a step-dad now.

Moon is definitely more interested in the healer path! Wrensong is much more of a gardener and herbal interested cat, so they will make a good team together.

Of course they are still partners! It's mentioned pretty often. (In the book, in both Line Up videos for Oak and Marsh, in art, in q&a posts, in pride month posts....)
