Also, how can we possibly have such abundant electricity that we could supply these notoriously power-guzzling centres in addition to our normal national needs, YET the government reckons we need to build a huge LNG terminal as a backup for dry years (most of our electricity generation is hydro and depends on lake/dam levels), LNG which would have to be shipped in from overseas, via the Strait of flipping Hormuz, instead of developing more capacity in battery storage and in wind, wave, solar and geothermal energy, all sources of which we have in abundance?
