Strap of her white silk top falling off her shoulder, Darby was siting on the kitchen counter of a random apartment, sounds of the pulsating party in the living room drifting in with thudding bass from the speakers. She was popping pretzels into her mouth, escaping the sweaty dancing bodies as she sipped slowly from a champagne bottle. She stuck a high-heeled foot out, nudging the person in front of her. “This music kind of sucks, huh? Can’t shake my ass to any of this shit,” she complained, taking another swig from her champagne bottle. “Want to play never have I ever? Maybe one of us has a dark secret that’ll liven this party up.”
