the website for the comeback teasers dropped first, showing a page with a space to enter a passcode. it was followed by jr's teaser trailer and the unlocking of the website, with the passcode today being 0016. nu'est also changed some of their social media profile layouts today.

from there the theories took off and began in earnest. the significance of the passcode was highly debated, as well as the timing of the teasers and previous hints and spoilers started forming into proper theories.

electricity seemed to be a strong theme surrounding jr. details in his trailer were also expanded upon, including the scenery and the sequence of events.

the vcr from the seoul music awards was also discussed as it started seeming more significant.

links to the knight concept and happily ever after were found aplenty, as well as connections to the table. theories about parts of the table also emerged, as parts of the trailers seemingly started making sense. the queen's knight manga from overcome era seemed to be connected as well, and links to other past concepts generally were also discussed, including nu'est w's concepts.

curiously, there seemed to also be ties to nu'est lab, with many wondering about certain details that seem related.

the appearances of other people in jr's trailer was also cause for much speculation, especially aron's as it brought people back to numerous older theories about aron's role in the story.

there's also a lot of talk over the emphasis on specific senses in all of these trailers, with baekho's being sight, ren's being smell and aron's being touch, or possibly hearing though most theories are leaning towards touch.

there's also talk about peaches having spirit-warding properties and the possibilities that entails. another different theory also talks about each member representing a different kind of love, based off of the books that were at the cafe.

speculation has also arisen over the fact that an invitation to the table and a ribbon were conspicuously absent in aron's trailer, which is leading people to wonder if he's the one sending the invitations and making the pies. the fact that he was on a table in his picture has not escaped notice either.
