this was supposed to be a very quick, solely sketched comic, but i sketched the last panel so well i had to paint it. i think this is the best big top i've drawn so far!

Neytirix was my BIGGEST inspiration when i was younger as an artist, and with knowing Inteus is a DJMM character AND knowing these 2 were inspired from her FNAF Hunter series i HADDD to draw them (I tried to sorta replicate the style). (Cw for blood btw! I can't really tag a tumblr ask but)

I think this scene absolutely could’ve realistically happened in their lore, Inteus essentially believes that Denali owes him his life.

DJ is giving YN something of a backrub--basically them laying in his hand while he presses/massages their upper back with his thumb and they make some quip about feeling guilty they can't return the favor...prompting DJ to mention it wouldn't do much for him anyway.

She has so much talent and she was thrown away after not meeting peak productivity for a day despite being given insane deadlines and and workloads. The way she begs to not be seen as another "crownie" by everyone around her despite definitively being one I originally saw as such an interesting character flaw and hypocrisy at first because it kinda gave me "engineering major flushing their morals for 100k a year at lockheed" but THAT'S clearly not the case - She's obviously more embodiment of an animator than an engineer in treatment, respect, and and general work attitude - She's the lifeblood of the company but forever expendable and sure, yeah, she's a crownie, she is DEFINITELY trying to escape that label when she is still very much supporting the company that ruins everyone's lives, but she really isn't a crownie with any actual power is she, which is what she's desperately trying to say. She knows firsthand that even though she's a "crownie" she has ZERO power or authority in her position who's constantly at the whims of whatever people want her to do or else she's FIIIIREEEEDDD. She loves what she does but there's not really any options other than the Park and she didn't "sell out," there isn't that much money in what she's doing if her living situation is of any indication, it's just that if she wants to do what she loves she's accepted that she has to suffer for it, and this even goes for Frankie

She's never really putting down Frankie's dreams of being just like her even when Frankie sees how much stress she's under and SHE'S seen the horrors of the park firsthand and she goes SO out of her way to put on a good face because there is still a tiny choked out ember of passion for what Princess Guinevere is even with all that she's faced on the front lines. Like, look at this last scene that broke my heart into a million pieces, she waits for Frankie to leave in front of her before she lets herself wince. ANDIIIII ANDIIII ANDIIIIIIIII BANGS MY FISTS ANDIIIII
